🧳 Bali's (not-for-profit) Burning Man & SIM Card Freedom
Community building at its finest
👋 This honestly does not feel like 12th of January, but more like March!
Whatever that feels for you, we are here with your Friday travel dispatch. This week we’ve got:
1. A 4-days Burning Man-like event in Bali
2. Skip the hassle of hunting for the new country SIM card

Bali's “hidden” gem: a picture-perfect spot for your Instagram feed.
Experiment with community co-creation
What: Lampu Event, a Burning Man-like experiment, co-creating a community centered on radical self-expression, co-creation, and cooperation.
Why: Skip the theory of community building, and go straight into living and building it alongside others.
Where: Nuanu, Bali, Indonesia
Duration: 4 days
When: February 29th - March 3rd, 2024
Price: Starting at €50
What catches our eye:
This is a not-for-profit event, with a strong team of volunteers who successfully managed a 700-person event in 2023.
All profits are donated to charities on the island, so this is your chance to have fun, build community, and contribute to the well-being of the welcoming local community.
You can only join as an active participant in a camp, as a volunteer, individual artist, or else. No curious cats roaming around.
The right SIM in your back pocket
What: e-SIMs, the easy and affordable way to stay connected while you travel.
Why: Skip the hassle of overpriced airport SIM cards and data packages.
Price: Varies by provider, country, duration
What catches our eye: You can conveniently set up e-SIMs online before you travel, ensuring you have data ready for an Uber as soon as you land. Choose from country, regional, or global e-SIM options!
Question for you: What is your North Star goal for 2024?
See you next week,
