🧳 Work & travel "hell-yeah!", and an oldie but a goodie

👋 Welcome to everyone who just joined us, and welcome back to everybody else! This week we have:
1. 20-day coworking road trip in Japan
2. This new-old thing called Meetup (hear me out)

Oversharing: As you are reading these lines, I am trying out one of the silent meditation retreats I shared with you all a few editions back. I will come back with impressions in 2024 (thanks Louie for suggesting to share a tad more personal experience!)

Japan vibes 🙂

Who said working and road trips do not go together

What: Coworking road trip in Japan run by Remote 9, an unconventional trip for adventurous digital nomads.

Why: Because we often hear that remote work and travel don't blend as seamlessly as we might wish, let's prove them wrong!
Where: around Japan
Duration: 20 days
When: March 15th - April 3rd, 2024

What catches our eye:

  • 4 different locations around the central region of Japan

  • your tribe of 9 working remote professionals

  • travel in a private minivan (how adventurous is that?)

Oldie but a Goodie (in certain locations)

What: The good old Meetup.com

Why: While many of you might have overlooked it, consider doing a quick search the next time you arrive in a new place. In some locations, you'll discover entire communities, hiking groups, weekly discussions, yoga sessions, and more - all exclusively on Meetup.

What catches our eye: Helps us connect with specific groups for niche interests, much more than a general community.

Random wisdom: Always have emergency food when you travel. Whether it's snacks for a hike or an extra meal tucked away for tight connection schedules. Thank me later 🙂

See you in the first week of January and… happy holidays for lots of you!
